History

In 2018

  • Applied Power Electronics, Semiconductor Power Devices and Advanced Electrochemical Technology courses were conducted in English.
  • English handouts of the lecture were provided.
  • G2E2 course WEB page was created.

In 2019

  • Selected for “Asian Human Resource Development Program for Pioneering the Green Electronics” under “Special program for priority allocation of MEXT sponsored international students”.
  • Creation of improved system by conducting classes in order to acquire the required credits of specialized subjects necessary for graduation only in English. Establishment of implementation guidelines for the 「Global Green Energy and Electronics Course」 at the Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering of the Kyushu Institute of Technology.
  • Implementation of “G2E2 Seminar”, by inviting professors from overseas to give lectures on the latest trends and research on the environment, energy and green electronics in the relay format.
  • Trial of Global Green Innovation Leader Development (GGI) course in cooperation with Green Innovation Leader Development (GI) course, in which exchange was conducted by sending 5 Japanese students to Mongolia National University for two weeks. In the autumn, workshop was organized by visit 5 students from abroad leading to creation of cooperative learning model.

2020 and later (tentative)

  • Further enhancement of the G2E2 course for the acceptance of already selected foreign students under “Special program for priority allocation of MEXT sponsored international students”.
  • Full-fledged beginning of the GGI course.
  • Request for the cooperation from the faculty members of other related research fields for the continuation and further development of this course.
