Laboratory Introduction
Student Office and Our Experimental Rooms (You can see our main laboratory instruments from here!!!)
| Student Office―One desk and PC have been provied for each Ph. D. student, master student, and undergraduate student to make a report, design an experimental plan, write a manuscript, and read resarch papers. | ||
| Experimental room for applied microbiology―We are working here to make culture media, to incubate various bacteria. | ||
| Experimental room for genetic engineering―We are working here to handle DNA, RNA, and proteins. | ||
| Experimental room for analysis and PCR―We are using this room to analyze some sample by HPLC or GC and to amplify DNA products by PCR.. | ||
| Equipment room―We are using this room to centrifuge bacterial samples by big centrifuges and to handle bacteria from deep freezer. | |
| Cold room―We are using this room to purify a target enzyme and to store agar plates. | ||
| Cultivation room―We are using this room to cultivate various bacteria with a large scale. | |
| Dark room (temperature-controlled room)―We are using this room to observe bacteral cell with fluoresence mainly. | |
| Autoclave room―We are using this room for the autoclave of various media, flask and pipets. | |
| Experimental room for Anaerobic cultivation/hydrogen production―We are using this room to cultivate bacteria anaerobically and to measure hydrogen gas produced from bacteria. | ||
